"The Journey" depicts all we go through to be who we are. I created it decades ago, right after "He Ain't Heavy" because I was feeling the same helplessness of our people that I'm seeing in the streets today. I do show that the man's fingers are moving, so you know he's NOT down for the count, but the same things he might have gone through are still happening today. Our journeys are never ending. We live through good and bad. There are ups and downs. The trick of it is to be grateful for every day...and get yourself ready to get up and go at it again.
